Steel structure Engineering in the installation and construction process, there are 5 major construction processes and steps, strict control of quality, safety.

1. Basics: Pre-burial of foot bolts (embedded parts) 

The method of embedding ground bolts (embedded parts) has direct embedding method and reserved hole method, which directly affects the quality of the whole frame of steel structure, strictly controls the position, elevation, length and verticality of the foot bolts (embedded parts), and is of great significance for reducing the expansion (modification) hole and adjusting the workload, and improving the stress requirement of the buried plate.

2. Node-Welding Engineering quality Control 

Welding is the most important control point of steel structure production and installation engineering, now most steel structure construction units have automatic submerged arc welding machine and semi-automatic gas protection welder, only in individual parts of the use of manual welding. Welding quality problems often appear in manual welds, such as: solder tumor, slag, stomata, no welding, bite edge, wrong edge, weld size deviation is large, no arc plate, welding deformation is not corrected, splash cleaning is not clean and so on.

3. Tied back contact-high strength bolt connection engineering

Mainly manifested in:

(1) High strength bolts have inferior phenomenon, do not meet the shear requirements (with ordinary refined bolts instead of high-strength bolts);

(2) High strength bolt connection surface treatment does not meet the requirements of the specification, including the connection surface of the anti-slip coefficient, flat tight sticker, bolt hole quality, etc. (3) High-strength bolts do not split the initial screw, the final screw and complete, without torque wrench, all based on subjective estimation and so on.

4. Steel structure Anti-corrosion and Fire protection engineering

Steel structure anti-corrosion and fire prevention process is also relatively easy to ignore the problem, anti-corrosion and fire quality directly affect the use of steel structure and quality and safety hazards, so in the acceptance must be strict inspection and acceptance of the various processes, which is to ensure the quality of steel structure coating basis and protection.

5. Maintenance of Structural Engineering 

The maintenance structure is mainly to install steel structure façade and top surface with pressure type metal plate, the main problems in the construction are: color plate laying node construction treatment is not reliable, maintenance structure leakage, uneven, not straight, not strict, deformation, scratches, pollution phenomenon and so on. Should establish a strict inspection and acceptance system, effective inspection batch and sub-project acceptance, to ensure that the node structure is reasonable, reliable, no leakage, the perception is smooth, straight, strict, uniform color, no scratches on the plate, no rust, no pollution.
